IT'S THE WARMTH WHEN YOU'RE NEXT TO ME

I was looking at this again cause I needed muse for my current Wicker basket post and I realized something. You can see light to the right and then you have the two love-birds. Wicca and Meta were complete opposites, she was a Dark and he was Unaligned to begin with. Wicca planned on killing Meta on sight when she first slipped in the remains of a NPC he killed (because vanity ya know) but once she introduced herself and he did as well, etc; she had a plan to convert him to the Dark alliance and make him her pet, to do her bidding whenever she pleased or whatever she wanted. (Not to mention she was immensely attracted to him, he was all male xD). Long story short, their relationship was almost impossible, Wicca wanted nothing to do with males, she hated them and vowed to never have a mate or a male ruling at her side, she saw the potential for offspring Meta would produce and she wanted one and in the end found out to get what she wanted from him, she had to be blunt (most of the time), Meta wanted nothing to do with her, he had all the voices that drove him away from her but that bit of sanity he had left, he focused it on her and they fell in love even if they never admitted it to each other, they honestly never confirmed they were mates, never told each other, it was just an understanding, they didn't need to say it and they never offered words of comfort, they were not soft and gooey lovers, they were mean and told each other the truth and they hurt each other that way but in the end they loved each other no matter what the other did. 

Now, back to what I was originally on before I went on my tangent: To the left you see a storm brewing and I like to see that as all the shit going on around them, Wicca's problems, the voices, the war, etc. And they are more in the darkness than the light in this and this picture basically embodies the fall of Wicca's world, the darkness come to swallow them up and the world basically showing them that no matter how hard they try, it will always steal them from each other and that is basically why I love this picture so much, Sigma and I talk more about them on AIM and plan a lot of shit that no one knows about, everyone only knows via our few posts but Bef, you captured their relationship without knowing much about it at all and THAT is why you are a DAMN good artist and do not let anyone tell you otherwise. Do your art YOUR way no matter the little bits of advice and crap others give you, don't change unless YOU want to. If you want to change the way you do the lighting or shading or you want a color to be a certain way or you want to use a certain background more than once YOU do it. It is your mind, your brilliance and your taste. Don't ever bend to what someone "suggests" you should or shouldn't do, especially if they aren't paying for the piece of art. <3
