with your soft lips worn dry
with those eyes: as blue as ever

not a day has gone by

you look even more like it
like the ocean that i held dear
you're still the teal waves on the shore

suddenly so weak and fragile
your quick look turned me to glass
our eyes met again, how perfect

you're enveloped in white

even the sun couldn't outshine you
