Schwartze Character Design Contest Entry

So I decided to enter Schwartze's character design contest! I've had this finished for like a week now but I wasn't sure if I was completely done with it. I may end up entering a second one but idk.

If she ends up not wanting this I will most likely keep it for myself because I really like it!
This character's mane is braided and its tail is cropped short as seen in the lineart. <3


the crows are from a halloween-themed brush set that's somewhere on dA
the background is made up of a texture from darkrose42-stock and a landscape from Burtn (both amazing stock providers that i use all the time. if you've never seen their work please take a look!)

This should be obvious but DO NOT steal this, it is not a free design by any means and please do not ask me if I'd be willing to sell it because I am 100% not.

Character Design and Art Contest -12 month premiumSo. After the hellish week I just had, I need some retail therapy. Except, I don't really like shopping for clothes or other things "normal" people go shopping for. I would love to have a new character design. I have a few I have purchased from some amazing people that are in the works, but I would love something new. After being inspired by a few other people's contests, I have decided to do my own! 
THE RULES
- Must include some sort of usable reference sheet 
- I retain the right to negotiate the purchase of any non-winning designs! (Which means before you sell it elsewhere, I would love the chance to buy it from you. After this though, you are more than welcome to sell them elsewhere)
- Must be on lines that can be used outside of deviant art or custom lines (I prefer custom lines!)
- Must be submitted via comment on this journal by DECEMBER 17th (This is my birthday!)
- (If nothing comes in that I like, I will split
